OUR
MINISTRIES

At Bethel Lutheran Church, we aim to minister to the whole family of Christ. From our youngest that attend Sunday School and at the Bethel Child Care Center to our oldest via church services and weekly bible studies. Come join us for any of our services to find out more about how we can minister to you and find out about all of our outreach programs.

Kid's Ministry

Join us every Sunday for Sunday School! We have a class for the younger ages (from babies to 2nd grade) and a class set up for our older students (from 3rd to 6th grade). Sunday School happens after church every Sunday starting at 10:15 with songs and a lesson from our teachers.

We offer first communion class for students who are in 4th grade, with their first communion service during Holy Week on Maundy Thursday.

You can reach out to Pastor Mark for any questions about Baptism and First Communion for your children!

Marriage Preparation

The sanctity of marriage is an important piece of the Bible. Whether you are planning to get married or are currently married, Pastor Mark is here to help you.

Pre-marital counseling is here to help you and your future spouse be ready for the commitment of marriage and provide helpful ways to have a lasting partnership between you and your future spouse.

Marriage counseling can also help you and your spouse work through a difficult time in your marriage. Protecting your marriage and solving problems is a difficult task and sometimes you need help to move forward.

Youth Ministry

Our Youth Director, Randy McKain, is a professor for Oak Hills Christian College in Bemidji in the Addictions and Counseling program. The Youth Group meets weekly for supper at 6 PM with a Bible Study or Activity following dinner from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.

Get plugged in and join us for a really fun and enlightening experience;

Confirmation classes start during our students 10th grade year during Youth Group times. Contact Pastor Mark for more information on Confirmation.

Community Ministry

It is important to us as a church to have an active role in our community. Between the partnerships we have with our local churches and programs we are involved in, we strive to serve the Bemidji Community. Here are some of the ways we are involved in our community:

  • Bemidji Area Food Shelf Volunteering and Offerings

  • Highway Clean Up

  • Tubs of Love

  • Bemidji Area Meals on Wheels Delivery

  • Bemidji Area Salvation Army
